2. What data we collect

Only what is needed to answer you and do the work you ask for:

  • When you call or send a WhatsApp message: your phone number, your name if you give it, where the job is, what has happened, and any photographs you choose to send.
  • When you email us: your email address and what you write.
  • When we carry out work: the details the law requires on an invoice, such as name, address and, where applicable, tax number.
  • When you visit the website: the company that hosts it may record technical access data (IP address, date and time, page requested) for security, as any web server does.

Please do not send us data about other people unless it is needed for the job, such as the name of a guest locked out of a rental you manage.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry, quote and arrange a visit. Basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (article 6.1.b GDPR).
  • To carry out the work and issue the invoice. Basis: performance of the contract (article 6.1.b) and compliance with tax obligations (article 6.1.c).
  • To keep accounting and tax records. Basis: legal obligation (article 6.1.c).
  • To keep the website secure. Basis: legitimate interest in protecting the site against misuse (article 6.1.f).

We do not use your data for advertising, do not add you to mailing lists, do not build profiles and do not take automated decisions about you.

4. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to any work: deleted within twelve months at the latest.
  • Messages, photographs and notes about a job: kept only for as long as they are needed for that job and its invoice.
  • Invoices and accounting records: kept for the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial law, currently up to six years, and then deleted.

5. Who else receives it

We do not sell or pass on your data. It is only handled by:

  • Service providers acting on our behalf, under a data processing agreement: the company that hosts this website.
  • WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), if you choose to contact us that way. WhatsApp processes your messages under its own terms and privacy policy.
  • Google Ireland Ltd., which serves the typefaces used on this website: your browser requests them from Google, which therefore receives your IP address.
  • Tax authorities, courts and other public bodies, when the law requires it.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

Google and Meta may process data in the United States. Both companies participate in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognised as providing an adequate level of protection in its decision of 10 July 2023. No other transfers outside the European Economic Area take place.

7. Your rights

You can ask to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its use, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you have given, at any time and free of charge.

Write to [email protected] or by post to C/ Xaloc, 2, 03570 Villajoyosa (Alicante), Spain, saying which right you want to exercise. We may ask for proof of identity so that nobody else can obtain your data. You will receive an answer within one month.

If you believe your data has not been handled properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos), at www.aepd.es.

8. Children

This website is not directed at children under fourteen, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection, and access to the data we keep is limited to the person who needs it to do the job. We collect as little as possible, which is the most effective protection there is.

10. Changes and language

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page. It is available in English and Spanish; if the two ever differ, the Spanish version prevails.
